ABOUT
Madeline Herec Poirier is an award-winning filmmaker and musician who has experience in documentary, advertising, and narrative film and is an editor, director and writer. She attended Berklee College of Music where she received a degree in Professional Music, and Emerson College, where she received an M.F.A. in Media Art. Her work has screened at multiple film festivals across the country and she won the Audience Choice Award for her film Crazy: A Story About Cake and Other Things at the Charleston Food Film Festival in 2014. Her advertising work has gained accolades from Adweek, Time and the Huffington Post. Her music has been nominated for multiple MTVu awards and she has played dates with her band The Hollow Sound on The MTV VMA Tour in 2009 and Vans Warped Tour 2008, and at festivals including SXSW 2009 and CMJ Music Marathons, in addition to appearing on multiple compilations and studio albums. She works as an editor and video creative at Hasbro/Cakemix Studios on campaigns for Nerf, My Little Pony, Transformers and many other brands. Madeline also teaches at the Community College of Rhode Island.

Madeline lives with her husband and two cats in Providence, RI and enjoys cooking, playing music, running, and going to RI beaches in her spare time.
